Our research on governance models for generative AI highlights specific challenges: How does the governance of generative AI differ from traditional IT governance? We also investigate the impact of generative AI on the workforce and organisational structures. Further, we strive to understand how trust mechanisms can be established in the collaboration between humans and AI. The answers to these questions are essential to effectively integrate AI into existing and new work processes.
In our research on blockchain and distributed ledger technology (DLT), we focus on key questions: When and why is the use of blockchain necessary? How can blockchain/DLT systems create and capture business value? We also explore how to efficiently manage a consortium of different stakeholders. Answering questions like these are critical to understand and optimize the application of these technologies for a variety of application areas.
In our work on the development of data markets and information products, we address questions like: What are design principles for data markets and information products? How can trust in information-products be established? AFurther, we investigate how transparent and trustworthy information products can contribute to making sustainability tangible and billable. These topics contribute to the creation of sustainable data-driven business models.
