Last Monday, we gathered at the Competence Center Conversational AI to learn about the generative AI journeys of different companies, explore implications of how customers are leveraging AI in their everyday lives, and think about upcoming challenges in AI. The workshop was filled with engaging discussions and valuable lessons from industry leaders and academic experts, providing a comprehensive look at the present and future of Conversational AI.
Workshop Highlights:
• Lessons Learned: Stefan Lampert (Kaiser Partner Privatbank) and Ahmed Harbaoui & Dmitri Zhigadlo (ParetoLabs) shared their real-world experiences with implementing GenAI use-cases, shedding light the challenges and early effects in operation.
• AI Change Management: Kevin Schmitt discussed the current state of change management frameworks, the challenges they face with AI, and potential adaptations needed to make them AI-ready.
• The Future of the ICT Industry: Dr. Stephan Schnez from Huawei delivered a thought-provoking talk on the physical limitations in hardware and energy supply within the current GenAI trajectory and discussed potential solution approaches.
• Working Session on AI and the Customer: Prof. Dr. Ivo Blohm and Kevin Schmitt guided us through key insights on customer perception, AI capabilities, and behavior. We explored how customers already use GenAI in their daily lives and highlighted that success does not necessarily require perfection.
☕ After a full day of knowledge-sharing, discussions, and practical takeaways, the day wrapped up with a social event at a local Tapas restaurant, where ideas continued to flow in a more relaxed setting.
A big thank you to all our speakers and participants for making this event a success, especially to the Migros Bank for hosting us in their Zürich office!
