New research ideas on AI, Gen AI and management applications

From March 20 to 22, 2024, thirty doctoral students from five chairs at the Universities of St.Gallen, Kassel and Osnabrück met at the University of Osnabrück. They presented their dissertation projects in the fields of IT, service, innovation and collaboration and received new ideas for their research work. A highlight was the keynote speech by Dr. Sebastian Lins from the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT).

The thirty doctoral students presented their research topics in various formats. Through in-depth discussions with other doctoral students, professors and post-docs, the participants were able to gain valuable feedback and new ideas for their dissertation projects and drive them forward.

In his keynote entitled "Employees' Security-Related Precaution Taking", Dr. Sebastian Lins  from the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) presented the contrasting effects of trust in organizational security practices and employee protection structures.
