At this meeting, the Swiss Circular Economy of Skills and Competences (SCESC) celebrated a pivotal moment—the Midterm Review (MTR) with Innosuisse, marking the halfway point of its ambitious project aimed at reshaping the future of skills and competences in Switzerland. This event brought together all eight subprojects, two industry experts, and members of the Innosuisse committee, all eager to delve into the progress and breakthroughs made over the last 18 months.

The day transcended a mere evaluative session, transforming into a platform for discussing both the progress made and the challenges encountered by each subproject. It was a vibrant showcase of the innovative solutions that have emerged from SCESC, shedding light on the journey thus far and the roadmap ahead.

The centerpiece of the day was undoubtedly the innovation showcase. Attendees had the opportunity to explore various posters and prototypes, including the Career Boost Advisor, the Digital Coaching Chatbot, and the AI Slide Evaluation tool. These innovations represent more than just technological advancements; they are contributions towards building a sustainable circular economy of skills, leveraging state-of-the-art technology to foster growth and empowerment.

The discussions that ensued were insightful, highlighting opportunities for further improvements and enhancements. This event was not just a checkpoint but a reflective moment to appreciate the collective efforts of all involved and to chart the course for future endeavors.

With renewed enthusiasm and supported by the feedback of the expert panel and the insights gathered from the review, the SCESC is self-assured to continue pushing the boundaries of educational technology and innovation.
