On the one hand, I explore dynamics in business processes. By combining qualitative and computer-assisted analytical methods, I aim to explain why process changes occur over time, often without strategic intent. A key observation is that processes and routines in organizations are far less static than is often assumed.
On the other hand, I am interested in Behavioural Visibility, that is, making process-related behavior visible based on digital traces. I am particularly concerned with how Behavioural Visibility leads to changes in processes and how it influences management decisions.
