Yuru Jin, a Master's student of Information Systems at the University of Zurich, recently presented some of the results of her research in a research talk. She presented PeerPolish, an AI-based tool to support the academic peer review process. The tool aims to improve the efficiency and quality of peer reviews by generating structured feedback. Yuru Jin is supervised by Prof. Dr. Liudmila Zavolkina.

The audience then discussed the potential and challenges of integrating generative AI into scientific review processes. The responsible use of AI in academic research was also part of the exchange.
