Meine Forschung bezieht sich auf zwei wesentliche Themenfelder:
Auf der einen Seite erforsche ich Dynamiken in Prozessen. In Kombination von qualitativen und computergestützen Analysemethoden möchte ich erklären, warum Prozessveränderungen über Zeit und oftmals ohne strategische Intention entstehen. Wesentlich ist die Beobachtung, dass Prozesse und Routinen in Organisationen weit weniger statisch sind als man oftmals annimmt.
Auf der anderen Seite interessiert mich Behavioural Visibility, also dem Sichtbarmachen von prozessbezogenem Verhalten auf Basis von digital Spuren ("digital traces"). Hier beschäfitgen ich mich insbesondere damit, wie Behavioural Visibility zu Veränderungen in Prozessen führt und wie Behavioural Visibility Managemententscheidungen beeinflusst.
